Our MissionThe N.B.T.S.G strives to give all sharpeners the opportunity to reach their full potential by offering the most advanced training and certification process available. This is accomplished through continuing education and hands on training with earned recognition from the leaders in their respected fields of sharpening.
The N.B.T.S.G meets once a year to give you the opportunity to certify in your specialized area, receive education through demonstrations, peruse the vendors that are available and the products they have to offer and network with fellow sharpeners.
Why A Different Guild To begin with, Dennis and I are very proud to be Certified Master Sharpeners recognized through the N.S.S.G. I have been a supporter of the N.S.S.G. since 1998. I have had the honor to be a part of the training and certification process from 2003 to 2008. We know that we can provide a better setting for a higher level of education by including training and certification for all of the tools in the beauty/grooming fields. This will be accomplished with the support of the majority of the vendors and dedicated sharpening leaders in their fields. Every person that attends will be a major part of continuing this guild.
